Individual Therapy

Support for anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and relationship-related patterns

Individual counselling offers a space to slow down and explore anxiety, ADHD, and trauma not only as individual experiences, but in how they show up in your relationships, sense of self, and emotional patterns. You may notice overthinking, emotional reactivity, shutdown, or people-pleasing that feels difficult to control, especially in close relationships. Even when life looks stable on the outside, past experiences and attachment wounds can quietly shape how safe, connected, or confident you feel.

Therapy with me provides a supportive, trauma-informed space to better understand these patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others, at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

How Individual Counselling Can Help

Individual counselling can support you in:

  • managing anxiety, chronic stress, and mental overwhelm, including racing thoughts and constant overthinking

  • understanding ADHD-related patterns such as distractibility, emotional intensity, procrastination, or burnout

  • processing past experiences or trauma in a way that feels safe, paced, and supportive

  • strengthening self-confidence, self-trust, and healthy boundaries in relationships

  • exploring attachment patterns and how anxiety, ADHD, or trauma show up in close relationships

  • improving emotional regulation, focus, clarity, and self-compassion

You don’t need to have a clear plan or a specific diagnosis to begin. Therapy with me offers a space to better understand how your mind works, make sense of your experiences, and move forward with greater confidence and ease..

My Approach

I work from an integrative, evidence-based approach tailored to your unique needs and goals. Depending on what you’re working through, therapy may draw from CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and trauma-informed care.

Our work is collaborative and practical, balancing reflection with tools you can apply in everyday life. My goal is to support you in feeling understood while also helping you develop skills that lead to lasting change.

What to Expect

In individual counselling, you set the pace. Sessions are guided by what feels most relevant and supportive for you in the moment.

In early sessions, we may focus on:

  • understanding what brought you to therapy

  • identifying goals and areas of concern

  • exploring patterns, stressors, and emotional responses

  • building strategies that support your wellbeing

  • gently examining family history and early experiences where helpful

There is no pressure to share everything at once. Therapy is a process, and trust develops over time.
